Jayna Gyro
Jayna Gyro started as owner Yusuf Topal’s simple idea: serve the bold, sunny flavors he grew up with in a place you can visit any day of the week. After opening in Emeryville, he set his sights on Sacramento and met Demetri Gregorakis-a first-generation Greek restaurateur with a knack for training teams and building neighborhood trust. Yusuf mentored Demetri on the Jayna way-how we season, slice, and welcome-then gave him room to lead the small, everyday decisions that matter: hiring, service flow, community outreach, and the quiet standards that make a restaurant feel cared for. Their partnership helped bring Jayna to East Sac and keep it humming.
